I want to add an email with period and I have the following response:
This email address is not available. Choose a different address.
The same email without a period is added well and the confirmation letter comes. But without period no one finds me by that address
I have searched. I can find nothing on your issue. It looks like Apple simply does not allow email addresses of the forms you mention. Here is another read that might be of interest to you https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201356 But, it does not say you can do what you want.

Then try adding your alias here:

-Are you attempting to create a new Apple ID, or are you attempting to add an alias to an existing Apple ID?
-Are you using an email address that you have access to?

Not quite helpful. My issue is why I can't use a dot in my alias email?
You know, for Google email.address@gmail.com and emailaddress@gmail.com and even e.m.a.i.l.a.d.d.r.e.s.s@gmail.com is the same address. So I am sure that my address with dot Apple doesn't verify. Without dot it verifies perfectly. But I want to add my address with dot for sure
