iPhone 11: home screen; date & time not displaying

As an avid iPhone user, I’ve gotten used to seeing and using the date & time display at the top of the home screen. My recently purchased iPhone 11 only displays the time on home screen. Has this useful tidbit been omitted or is there a way to get both date and time to display?

I’m not sure you completely understand my meaning. I do know how to view the date and time. On all my other iPhones the date and time ALWAYS displayed in the upper left of the screen. I use this info when/during my using other apps I have, namely my emails and word processors. It’s a distraction to take the extra steps to view date/time info while in an edit mode then have to return to my current activity. I thought someone might know how to regain this date/time display. I’m always open to suggestions of streamlining operations as being on-the-go leaves limited time for going back~n~forth thru apps/settings to really be productive.

NO I completely understand, if there was settings I would've told you from the gate but since there wasn't I gave you alternatives to accessing that feature.

Not sure what phone you had prior or where you been the last 3 or 4 years but that feature was removed when iphone X came out.

google the specs of the iphone X, 11 or any tech website to read more about it.

Believe me, I’ve tried everything! From the 2 screen prints you will notice the phone is not locked but showing the actual home screen. The upper left displays the time and location indicator, nothing else. I tried your suggestion and there is no change. I’ve been periodically checking ALL settings in hopes of finding a solution to my ‘user error’ though I am still at a loss.

Thank you for your suggestion, though.
