payment method

I added my card to my Apple ID and went to purchase something... it said failed, so I proceeded to update everything about the card and it was all correct and now when I view payment methods it says failed, how can I remove or fix it ?

Apple ID payment information - If your payment method is declined, or you have a billing issue with a previous purchase in the iTunes Store. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203005
