Apple family sharing of Apple Music when igloos and Music Id are different

I've had an iTunes/Apple Music account for years and when I bought my 1st iPhone the sales person at the apple store created an iCloud account that uses an email he created with asking if I had an iTunes account. Therefore my cloud account and Music account are under different emails accounts. How do I set up my Apple Music account which is under my Music account with family sharing. Every time I try to set family sharing the iCloud account XXXXXXXXXXXX@me.com comes up. My Music (iTunes) account is under XXXXXXXXXXX@earthlink.net. How do I share this with my family?

If you aren't syncing a lot of data to iCloud, sign out of the existing iCloud account in Settings/Your Name/iCloud, and then sign into iCloud using the @ earthlink address. You can then use the @earthlink address to set up Family Sharing.

When changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion. Also set up Family Sharing to keep access to your apps/purchases.
