Help

My iPhone has suddenly stopped working like a phone after this last update. The microphone isn’t working for ANYTHING. If I take a video there’s no audio and I can’t hear or be heard during calls. Voice memos wouldn’t even let me attempt to record (I was trying to see if there was something physically wrong with my microphone, but it is definitely something to do with the new update). Please let me know what I can do to fix this. I don’t see what the point is paying for a phone bill when I can’t even use my phone for what it’s meant for.
