International FaceTime

Why am I seeing charges for FaceTime calls to Sweden? I never used to so this is a new thing in the past couple months.

You’re seeing charges in what context? In Apple bills? In your cellular carrier bills? FaceTime uses Wi-Fi or cellular data data and voice over IP (VoIP), so should not be incurring a carrier telephone bill beyond the charges for the VoIP carrier data (if any) involved. You’ll certainly get charged for using that cellular data, if you’re not on Wi-Fi.

If you’re on Wi-Fi when calling, you’re not on any cellular carrier network. So no carrier bills. Assuming you’re not using a cellular hotspot for your Wi-Fi, that is. If you’re on cellular, you’ll get charged based on whatever is in your cellular carrier contract.
