Is there a way to turn off tap number In call list to immediately call that person?

I’m always accidentally calling people by scrolling through call list, trying to move or delete from list or just adjusting contact settings. Even searching and moving to L in contact list is a problem for me. And even though I cancel immediately the call appears as a missed call on the other end. It’s got me in to trouble! Maybe there’s an accessibility option that will allow it to be a double tap or long tap or confirm to call?

Hello luminite,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you do not want the iPhone to make a call when you tap on a contact. You can use Touch Accommodations that requires a hold before it will tap.

Use Touch Accommodations with your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch
