International sms automatically going & being charged for on IPhone 11, software issue

I have a iPhone 11 & a prepaid plan with Vodaphone. I am being charged for International sms being sent every few minutes which I am not sending. Vodaphone says it’s a IOS software glitch. & Apple has to help resolve.

Those messages are sent to activate iMessage and FaceTime. Usually it takes only one text message to do that, and the carriers do not charge you for that. I never had to pay for any of the text message sent to activate any of my devices.

Has iMessage and FaceTime been activated successfully?

Did you try to activate iMessage or FaceTime, brining connected to Wi-Fi?
