Does anyone know why my new iPhone XS won’t install apps after asking me to double tap for verification?

That indicates you need to double tap the external button on the right of the phone.

When the double tap messages bounces are you rapidly DOUBLE tapping the power button?

I tried and pressed the button and it just doesn’t work
