Automatic renewal

I was debited for LinkedIn premium after free trial and I don’t even use any features, it’s for recruiters. Please can I get a refund, LinkedIn say Apple initiates the debit of funds from my card

First thing you need to do is cancel the subscription. See this, View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support


Then see this to request a refund. They are not guaranteed. Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support They are reviewed on a case by case basis.

Once you download an app that has a subscription and you don't cancel the subscription before the free trial is over, you have subscribed to it.

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
