Catalina keeps verifying a trusted Adobe app when I go to launch it and once verified it doesn't launch the app.

Is an older App that may have 32 bit components? That could be a problem. Verify with Adobe it is designated Catalina compatible at that version. A lot of plugins in Adobe Apps may not be compatible. Find out which ones are by determining the age of the date created. If any are older than Catalina's release, check for updates, and remove them until you know they are Catalina compatible.

Assuming you have done nothing recently to change anything, I would suggest restarting your computer and if this doesn't work, I would contact Adobe customer service for assistance. Maybe a new download of the app will fix it.
I am using the most up-to-date Adobe Lightroom. What makes this most frustrating is that Lightroom was working just fine only days ago.
