why does my apple id balance display 0.00

when I go on the AppStore and click my icon to display my information options it displays my Apple balance of 0.00, which is wrong because I redeemed a gift card a week ago. Then I click on my ID and it now says I have 20.48, but if I go on appleid.apple it says again that I have 0.00, I don’t understand what’s going on, note it says this on my IPad, when I go on my iPhone it actually appears correctly on the AppStore but when I go to appleid.apple it still says 0.00, so I have no idea what’s going on. Any suggestions or answers?

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! I understand your Apple ID balance is showing different amounts, depending on which device you're viewing the available credit.


I suggest refreshing your Apple ID credit balance, as outlined in the following article: If you can't redeem your App Store & iTunes Gift Card, Apple Music Gift Card, or content code - Apple Support


"If you see a message that says your card or code has already been redeemed, try signing out of the iTunes Store on all of your devices, then sign back in. This will refresh your credit balance. Learn how to find your credit balance."


Keep in mind, taking this step will remove music downloaded for offline listening if you're an Apple Music member. To sign out of the iTunes Store with iOS or iPadOS, tap Settings > iTunes & App Store, then tap your Apple ID and select Sign Out: Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support
