Apple how to work Track Pad 10.15.3 MacBook

How to work Track Pad 10.15.3 MacBook 2019.

Track pad jumps all over the place and I can't even move one Document to another Folder - the Document jumped into some other folder and it took a while not find it. I'm wasting a lot of time on the Track Pad. Is there any help somewhere on Apple web?

The Track Pad is taking a lot of my time & not easy to work with and keeps making mistakes.

I've only had this fancy new Mac for a week but I've very disappointed by the lack of help with the mess of Trackpad! Any ideas welcome. G
