Here are a few fundamental troubleshooting steps that may help. Some of the information will be redundant but review everything to determine if there is something you may have overlooked.
If you don't get anywhere, you can use the following procedure to determine if the problem is internal or external to your Mac. Causes may involve your router, your ISP, the DNS Server(s) it uses, or certain user-configurable options.
Determine if the problem persists while using Safari in that mode. After that, restart your Mac normally, and reply with your observations.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.

Hi John,
Your suggestions might work but in my case they didn't.
In that case you need to start a new Discussion. The originator of this one has not provided any actionable information.
To start a new Discussion, first click the Post dropdown menu at the top of this page, and then click Discussion:

The Pinterest browser button is not currently available on Safari after version 11. We're working to bring it back, but in the meantime you can install our browser button on another browser.

I know that the button has to come from Pinterest but.....
Apple can give support on developing the button
The Pinterest website loading is a Safari issue. If it loads ok in Chrome and Firefox it is an Apple issue to solve.
Hi John,

In general Safari has become less responsive and slow loading sites in the last couple of years.
To me it it strange you have to go trough all your setps to get a responsive browser again. One click in a menu or auto cleaning is a far better option and more in line with the way Apple (just to) make software.
At the end of the line: I'm disappointed.

Device or computer? Error messages? Pages not loading?
I use Mojave.
Pintrest is the most obvious for me: Not loading pages, unable to pin web pages
There are more sites that load slow or don't even load at all.
I switched to chrome.
Thx that works I wonder when APPLE are going to up their game.
