Snapchat om iPhone XS Max is really bad

Hey, i really don’t get why Snapchat on my iPhone XS Max sucks. The only problem I have is that the front camera is really zoomed in and also it looks like they put on a beauty filter on my face and I really dislike this. I have researched this problem and I found out that many users have this problem due to the fact that Snapchat doesn’t really support the newest iPhones.. does anyone know when (if) there will be som sort of an update for this? And is there a way to change it by myself? Please help a girl in need!
