Charging iPad Pro

Can I charge an iPad Pro 11" using a Powerbank device? Or a car cigarette lighter adapter (12V to 5V). Or even an older Apple charger (12W) for iPad series 4?

Also, when I connect to my PC USB port (USB-A type 3) I get a notification that the iPad has caused a power surge (overload) on that port.

Windows, Windows 10

At best, glacially slowly.

Apple indicates 18W or higher, per:

There are numerous very sketchy USB-C chargers on the market, unfortunately.

And you’re trying to get too much power from the PC port.

I’ve found the Apple 30W USB-C charger to be useful for speedy charging of a recent iPad Pro.

There’s some completely and utterly wild garbage PD equipment being sold, too.

I’ve taken to explicitly labeling all of my USB-C charge-only cables, so that those don’t get mixed into other configurations.

Thanks.

I connected my iPad to a battery bank via a non-Apple USB-A to USB-C cable and I think it overloaded the Powerbank, which is rated at 5V/ 2.4A output. The power supply that comes with the iPad is rated at 5V/18W (which equates to 3.6A).

Looks like I might need to source charging devices with beefier Amp specs than I have used for older iPads.
