Adding cellular to iPad Pro

Can you add Cellular @ a later date to the iPad Pro models? If so, will it take getting a sim card or does it come with one if you originally buy with WiFi only?

does the ipad pro need to have a sim card in order to work? Hi, I'm thinking of getting the latest ipad pro cellular version. If i do not have a sim card will I be able to still use it as a wifi only device? Thanks for your advise

If it is a Wi-Fi only model it cannot be later upgraded to Wi-Fi + Cellular.

A WiFi Only iPad is always a WiFi Only iPad. Cellular capability cannot be added later.
