My microphone won’t work? When making a phone call I can hear people on the other end but they can’t hear me, I tried recording on voice recorder and also video and there’s no audio, please help?

And some of the my mobile applications that needs microphone doesn't work and the app/s collapse. I also reset all settings but still nothing happened. I don't know what to do. This happened to me I had to buy a new phone
