System suddenly crashing with exit code 78

Hi all


I'm using a 2017 15inch MacBook pro and every once in a while, it just suddenly dies. Just...BAAM... black screen, no warning and no messages when I turn it back on. It happens when both plugged in and not plugged in.


I've gone through the system logs in the Console app and these are the logs at the time of crash:

15-in MacBook Pro requires substantially more charging current than previous MacBooks and 13-in MacBook Pro that introduced USB Power Delivery through USB-C connectors. If the cord is aftermarket, get a new one rated for MacBook Pro 15-in.


The Shutdown Causes come from a developer who researched them and put the ones he could find in his blog:
