Printing word document

Hi Guys,

I am really hoping someone can help me I am sure it most likely a simple fix but I have tried every setting I can think of and still not getting the outcome I am looking for.

I have made a custom letter head on photoshop for my partner and when printing from her mac to a cannon printer the document is not printing full page. Also the same from my Dell laptop.

I have aligned the letter head perfectly, changed the margins to no margins, ensured the correct paper size is selected but still when printing it is chopping off part of the top and bottom of the letter head.

Strangely when in print preview mode it shows as full size and as if it would print fine but once the document has printed it is still not correct.

Can someone please help, I have changed so many settings and printed so many times with no success, I would be extremely grateful if someone could help or point me in the right direction.

Many Thanks

Adam

I have no direct answers but here are a couple things I'd look at as I worked through the problem.

1) place the graphic in the middle of the page to ensure that the graphic isn't damaged.

2) are you placing the graphic in the header or just at the top of the page? If it is in the header, even though it appears to be okay when being viewed the graphic might be too large to fit inside the printable boundaries of the header. I've seen this happen.

3) the result may be caused by two different problems and require both to be solved. The printer may have a limit of how close to the top of the page it can print causing the top to be cut off but the bottom may be cut off due to issue #2 above.

(I hate trying to diagnose printer problems long distance. They just seem to cry out for fiddling around rather than logic)
