Storage

My phone storage is showing I have 8 GB of photos when my iCloud storage says I only have 3 GB of photos. My iCloud storage only holds 5 GB in the first place. I cant do anything since ths is taking up most of my space, i even powered off my phone and turned it off again. My phone is also fully updated. Please help!

Are you using iCloud Photos? If so, see the "Make sure that you have enough storage" and "Save space on your device" sections in:


Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support


If not, where did you get the 3 GB of photos in iCloud storage? Could that be the space photos are taking up in your iCloud backup? That would make more sense.


If you need to make more space on your iPhone, see the "Use recommendations to optimize storage" section in:
