VO2 max readings

I am able to get VO2 max readings on the health app via Apple Watch 5. The readings show up no matter you run or walk for any duration as long as you are using the activity apps on the watch, while you run or walk. Problem is, the reading is always the same, exactly same.

Apple Watch 5 not displaying VO2 Max in Health App Every time I ran or walked using the Watch Workout app, I was getting regular V02 Max readings from my Apple Watch 5 display in my Health app. Over the past week, I have run 3 times, and Health app is not displaying updated VO2 max readings. The last one was on May 20, 2021, and today is May 29, 2021 (see screen shots). I have been through the settings, and everything appears to be set correctly. I do recall that there has been a Watch update in the last week. Might that have affected it? Any other guidance is appreciated. Thank you!

VO2 Max reading not working on Apple Watch So I have 5 outdoor run workouts this week, plus one a month ago, and then 7 going back to August and I still can’t get a VO2 Max reading. I thought it was 5 readings in 3 months and 10 in 6 months? I guess that’s a lie just like the GPS feauture? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple watch VO2 max measurement dropping like a rock I am struggling to under the VO2 max readings on my Apple Watch. I work out daily with very little change in the weekly routine. But the VO2 values are dropping like a rock - down nearly 20% (from 39 to 33) in the last 6 weeks. So 4 or 5 Outdoor Walks on the same path/loop each week where Workout App measures the values. All are for a duration of 50-60 minutes. All with an average pace of ~14 miles per hour. Heart rate pretty constant in the 125-135 BPM range. These workouts don't vary by 5%. Yet the VO2 max is dropping each time. I just don't get it. Anyone have any ideas? It is an Apple Watch 7, Watch OS 10.3.1, using a tight fitting sports band. Tim

First thing I would try is to restart the watch and phone:
