Notes are disappeared

Hi, I am using a Macbook Air 13", running El Capitan 10.11.6, and Notes version 4.2 (555.10.42)

My Notes weren't syncing between my Mac, my Ipad and my iPhone

I think on my Mac, Notes had set as default folder "Google"

- puzzled by this, I promptly set it to "iCloud".

At that, my Mac started downloading all the notes from my iPhone and Ipad, and the app crashed. When I reopen it, the only Notes that were left there were from my Ipad and IPhone, and the Mac's notes that were created before my El Capitan installation… And it was 3 months before

All the notes that I wrote on my Mac, within the last 3 months,

are gone.

And no trace at all on gmail, google etc. either

I have tried every way on the web including “.storedata” SQL stuff…

Anyway, my 3 months works are now gone. And I am very decided to

leave all the fancy “Apple” world, if this situation is not solved immideately.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

The Notes app stores notes in the following directory on your Mac: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes/

Have you tried going to this location with Finder, and then, use Time Machine to see if you can locate your notes?
