Pop-up box with "Incorrect Wi-Fi Password"

I continuously keep getting a pop-up box with "Incorrect Wi-Fi Password" from Spectrum on my iPhone, while I'm away from home. I have Verizon phone service, not Spectrum (I have Spectrum internet at home). Per Spectrum, it's my phone's problem, not theirs. How can I prevent from getting this constantly irritating pop-up?

That means that somewhere in the area where the message pops up there exists a Wi-Fi hotspot that advertises a network with the same name as that which you have configured and regularly connect to at home. Since it is really a different network, the passwords do not match.

Temporarily you could select the network in the list of Settings / Wi-Fi and have the phone forget it, but you would have to reconfigure when back home. Could try reconfiguring your home hotspot with a different name that doesn't coincide as a permanent solution.
