What can I do to fix the muffled sound of my speakers after being under water for about 20 minutes.

Water resistant and waterproof are not the same. Warranty does not cover water damage.

Water damage isn't fixable. You'll have to replace the phone.

Make an appointment at an Apple store for help.

It is supposed to be water resistant to a certain depth for 30 minutes as far as what I read.

"Water resistant" not "water proof".
