command tilde shortcut to move next window is not working. Its only working for safari but not for any other applications. It used to work till very recently. This is quite a handicap for fast movement between windows. Please advice.

Try Command Tab, to open the HUD (heads up display)
let go of the Tab,—then use tilde to go back ward, or tab to go forward

THanks for the reply, but all these tips didnt quite work out.
Looks like its working fine for Safari but not for firefox or chrome or ms office apps.
Let me know if there are any other alternatives available
