The original (first generation) iPad mini was a 32-bit architecture device - now long since unsupported by Apple having been superseded by 64-bit devices. The final version of its system software was iOS9.3.5/6 (we’re now iPadOS 13.3.1). This iPad model is obsolete.


It is becoming increasingly difficult to find compatible Apps for this iPad mini. There are still some Apps available, but they are rapidly dwindling as developers (and Apple) withdraw unsupported Apps from the App Store. If you want or need to use modern/recent versions of Apps, then this device is increasingly unlikely to usable.
