CarPlay stopped working

I have an iPhone 7+ and a 2018 Chevy Bolt. CarPlay worked fine until recently. Maybe related to recent system upgrade. Anyone have a solution for this problem?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

Marty, if you want to resolve this issue you are going to have to play the troubleshooting game like you would for any other problem. It will start with the recommendation above for resetting your settings on the phone.

My money is on the car, again a reset of your profile putting the radio back to factory fresh. With radios like yours and the OS that they run this is usually caused by bad connection profiles stored in the car. The bad profiles can either become corrupt by themselves (happens more often than you think) or it could be because a pre-release or Beta OS was installed on the phone at some point.

If you take this to the dealer, they will do the exact same thing. Might be an option since you still got at least another 3 years left in warranty and I get the feeling this might be uncomfortable for you to undertake.

Under "Config" you will have "Reset to Factory Defaults". You might also have to remove the stored phones manually. The Volt OS is a weird one.

My apologies for the misspelling. The run the same OS, so the above procedure will work on either and potentially solve the issue.

One piece of advice - If you get your car back and it still has your settings in the radio such as destinations, bt profiles... etc. They didn't do a factory reset and you'll be right back with the same exact issue.
