How do I authorize my new ipad air2 to iTunes...I only have 2 apple devices my ipad and iPhone 6 and when I start up iTunes on the ipad there is no where to access my account to authorize this device. Like it is with a computer
You do not have to authorize an iPad. You just log the iPad into your Apple ID that matches your Apple ID in iTunes.
Ok that is great. I guess what was confusing me was I was at a max of 5 authorizations with older apple devices( ipod and a older mac book as well as a older ipad) So it was telling me in iTunes I could no longer authorize more devices as I was at the limit and needed to deauthorize other devices already authorized...The older devices mentioned above were no longer accessible so I had to de authorize "all" according to one post I had read...So I did this and naturally figured as the older devices needed to be authorized my new ipad also needed to be...But that is not the case I guess...From looking at this now it would appear the only devices that would need authorizing would be other mac books and pc laptops.. But mobile deivces like a newer ipad an iPhones do not need authorization..... Thanks for the quick response....
