How do I back up my ipad to my computer without itunes
I no longer have I tunes and just bought a new ipad mini and need to back up before I trade the old ipad in for the new mini. What do I do?

You posted in the High Sierra forum. Since you no longer have iTunes installed, I’m assuming you’re actually on MacOS Catalina...
In Catalina the General pane from iTunes was moved to the Finder.
Connect your iPad to your computer. Open any Finder folder window. Your iPad should be listed under Devices in the sidebar. Click on it to see a window very similar to what you had in iTunes. You can select to backup right there.
