Macbook Pro mid 2012 Cant download additional components need to install mac os x
I recently bought an old macbook from a friend in plans to refurbish and sell it. But currently i am unable to boot to an os. All the current drives have no OS installed or any data at all. When i turn it on it show the file with a question mark so i decided to go to the internet recovery screen as my cd drive doesn't work. When i get to the screen i go to install mac os x lion and accept everything and click ok. When i choose my 128gb ssd to install it on the loading bar will instantly fill up but show large numbers and -0. Then I get the error message : "Can't download the additional components needed to install mac os x.". The 128gb ssd is all i have to install to and it simply doesnt work. Note : I have no experience with any apple products nor do i have one. I have a secondary windows pc though.
