Maps on Apple Watch

Maps on Apple Watch keeps popping up on Watch even when not using maps app. I want this to stop.

What are you doing when this pops up? Are you using Maps on the iPhone? Try resetting the Watch. Press and hold the Digital Crown and power button together until you see the Apple logo and then release.

I wasn’t doing anything on the iPhone when this was happening. In fact I went into the Maps app on the iPhone to make sure nothing was opened and it wasn’t. However, I think your suggestion of resetting the Watch helped. Since I did that Maps has not popped up again. Hopefully it’s solved. Thank you for your help.
