ITunes Match

Recently traded a late 2013 MacBook Pro 13 inch for a 2019 16” inch MacBook Pro. Prior to surrendering my old laptop, I backed up everything, including my cd-based music library to the icloud. I was told this would preserve all the data and the music would flow back to the new device. This is not the case, even with the extortionary subscription to iTunes match. All the time effort and money invested in preserving this library lost. Apple sucks. Catalina sucks. ITunes and iTunes match sucks. If considering nee apple gear. JUST DON’T. I also purchased apple care and have gotten none so far. Run away
