Like New Lightning Cable Doesn’t work

Hi, I have two almost new (unpackaged) lightning cables that do not work. They will not charge a device or show a connection. Would it be possible to have these cables replaced as they are still in brand new condition?

Are they genuine Apple cables? See this:

If they are genuine, and won't connect, check the charging port for lint or other debris:
