Only one side of my earphone work :/

Hey !

Today, my earphone stop working for the left one... i dont know what happen...

Can Apple change it for me ?

I still have my warranty of Apple but not from the FutureShop...

I didn't register my iPod... but i dont think.. the only time i wrote the serial number is when i installed the software.

Can you guys help me thanx !

This seems to be a common defective issue. Make sure it's not just the stock headphones but indeed the Ipod and Apple should replace it for you. I would recommend going to an apple store but you could also try calling them.

I had the same problem... I took my Shuffle and headphones to an Apple Store and they confirmed that the headphones weren't working and replaced them without any hassle. I even got two new sets of those foam-cover-things, which was nice, since mine keep falling off. Now THERE'S a feature I'd like Apple to improve.

The problem with is not with the headphones but with the shuffle. If I push the connector back the left side of the headphones start to work. Any help would be appriciated.

I'm also having this problem even thought it worked perfectly well before
it's only been two months since i got it
i don't have any warranty though and i didn't buy it in the apple store
do you think the apple store might take it in and fix it?

turns out i had warranty so i send it in
and they replaced it with another ipod
but now the hold switch won't work!

u should try playing ur ipod with other earphones and if the earphones aren't the prolem then send in your shuffle to have it repaired
