Webcam freezes on Mac Mini

My web cam freezes after a minute or two, on a number of platforms (Zoom, Webex, Skype). Brand new Mac Mini, OS 10.15.3

I have experienced this with 3 Macs over the last 2 years, all with current software - both system and app. I do not experience the same when using a Windows (10 or 11) notebook. Apple Display webcam isn't working with Mac Pro I recently update a Mac Pro (late 2013) to Big Sur and then my webcam (Apple Cinema Display 27-inch) stopped working, before updating everthing were fine. Does anyone has have the same problem?

I can try that, but that's not going to solve the problem when it freezes in the middle of a client call.

I have a brand new Mini, and for a while that seemed to have solved the problem (which started with my old one), but now it has re-occurred.
