Configuring Data Roaming on Dual SIM

Hopefully someone can clarify this for me - I have an iphone 11 Pro and am currently use an eSIM as my main SIM (let's call it Home SIM).

When I travel, I like to purchase a prepaid SIM and put a physical SIM into my iphone (Travel SIM).

Can I turn on data roaming just for my Travel SIM and not for my Home SIM on my phone? I plan to travel to Japan later this year and have purchased a prepaid SIM that is actually originates from Hong Kong so data roaming needs to be turned on for it to work. I don't want my Home SIM data roaming to be on as I will get stung with exorbitant roaming fees on that account.
