The Emoji keyboard is gone under Keyboards

I have done those steps also. When I got to “Add Keyboard” emojis show up as an option but not in the lost with the languages. It is on the top but there is no arrow next to it enabling it to open. Just the word, “emoji”, sitting there .

It cannot be opened in Settings. It won't havre an arrow beside it because there are no additional settings for it. If you have gone to Settings>General>Keyboards and you see a listing above Add New Keyboard, those are the keyboards you have installed. Like mine, I see English (US) and Emoji. That means those are the two keyboards I have installed.
To access the Emoji keyboard from there, when in Messages for instance, you tap into the text entry area, then at the bottom left corner of the keyboard you will see a Smiley face or Globe, you tap there and select Emoji to enter emoji into the message.
When I tap the globe, only bitmoji comes up, not emoji. I followed all of the recommended steps. I do not know what else to do. I don't even know why this bothers me as it's only an emoji. LOL. But it does.
If you go to Settings>General>Keyboards and Emoji is not there, have you tried powering the phone off and back on? If still not there, have you tried to add it back?

I am having the same problem! Deleted, powered off, restarted, Restarted emoji keyboard and still do not have it back! Nothing has worked! Help

Please tell me how to get back my emoji keyboard. I have done all the recommended steps. All I see on the add keyboard page is the word emoji without an arrow next to it; it can’t be opened.

My emoji keyboard has disappeared as well. I’ve done the restart, removed and readded it, it shows in my keyboards but when I press the globe as I always did, it does not come up.
Look at Chris’ response above. That worked for me.

Get rid of bitmoji, it messes things up for lots of people.
