Scam Email

Wife just got email asking her to verify Apple ID or account will be locked is this a scam email

Yes, someone is trying to scam her. Apple does not send such emails.


Did you she provide any potentially damaging information to anyone? If yes, she'll need to follow up, for example, with a credit card company, Apple, your bank, etc.

 

If she gave her Apple ID password to the scammer, then
