I have just moved countries for work and had to change my payment method as my credit card is no longer active.
I sent an invite on Family Sharing to my sister who is in another country but it gave an error as she's not in the same country.

You cannot make purchases outside of your own country nor can you share those purchases with others outside of the country. Everyone must purchase from the App Store and iTunes Store in their own country, so that would never work.
For any Family Sharing plan (Apple Music, iCloud etc). All your family members need to be in the same country / region.
Can I add people to my family sharing even though they are not in the same region or country?
