I have a faulty MacBook

I have a faulty mac book its the second time that i took it to the i centre first time it had a software problem ( it could log in my account ) and now i was using it and i it shutdown and couldn’t switch it on again . They told me that they are going to change the motherboard . As the laptop is still on the guarantee are they suppose to give me a new one ?

Apple will repair it free of charge if it is under warranty but will not give you a new one. That only happens if you return it within two weeks of purchase.
