My i message & FaceTime is not showing my phone number

Hey, i hope you are doing great, from the last year i am facing same problem with my I phone 7 & now same problem with my i phone 7 plus, I purchased used iphone 7 from pakistan & it was working perfectly. But I can't able to iMessage and FaceTime with anyone from my number, my email 'ahsankhan.ahmed1@icloud.com' is showing as a sender and receiver address instead of my number, when i got stuck at that point i sold my phone to my relative, he changed his apple id & that time he was successful to iMessage anyone showing his number instead of his email. For now I switched my phone from iphone 7 to iphone 7 plus, I updated my software to the lastest version, i changed my carrier, i changed time zone (auto time zone & manual selection), also changed my privacy settings, i reset my all network settings, and I waited for 1 day for activation of iMessage, but that doesn't works, i called my carrier asked them for help they said 'from our side it is cleared' i want to iMessage & FaceTime people with my mobile number cause they have my number instead of sending messages from my id. Kindly do lemme know what else method i can do thanks & regards

Turn off and restart iMessage and FaceTime (The order / sequence is very important)

  1. Go to Settings > Messages and turn off iMessage.
  2. Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn off FaceTime.
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Turn iMessage and FaceTime back on. (Watch the GIF below)

  • Still not activated after a day?
  1. It might take up to 24 hours to activate iMessage and FaceTime. If the issue continues after 24 hours, follow these steps:
  2. Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS.
  3. If you're using an iPhone, contact your carrier to make sure that you can receive SMS messages.
  4. Contact Apple Support.
