I've had two larger capacity iphones not connect to windows 10 on laptop but will connect on a desktop. Smaller capacity iphones connect to laptop no problem. Any suggestions?

Ok I just uninstalled the
Apple Mobile Device USB Composite Device and
Apple Mobile USB Device Drivers
I then plugged in the problem phone and it worked. I unplugged the phone and it again was not recognized
Cables and connections come to my mind.
It has nothing to do with the storage space on any device.
If it's not the storage size what could be the issue,
I've tried several cables and all ports on the computer
there are no error messages. I get the tone from windows but never get the "trust this computer" prompt

No it did not. I really don't get it. Only some phones not working but they work on other computers
That is very odd. The only thing I would suggest is to get an appointment at an Apple Store to see if they have any idea why this is happening.
