Ken Burns Civil War-

Hi,

I am thinking of purchasing this but it appears as though only the last two episodes (8 and 9) are listed as being the 25th anniversary fully restored versions. Episodes 1-7 are not shown as being the restored versions and their running times correspond to the originally aired series times. Being Apple, I suspect that all episodes are the restored version but stranger things have happened. Can anyone please clarify? Also, any plans for a 4k release? I know the restoration was done in 4k... so....

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with your purchase of Ken Burns Civil War. It sounds like you are concerned that all episodes won't be restored and only the 8th and 9th episodes will be restored as shown in the Apple TV app.


While I can confirm that it does appear that way inside the TV app, the Apple iTunes website Ken Burns: The Civil War does confirm each episode is the restored version with a copyright date of 2015.


If you do purchase the series and find it isn't restored, Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.


You can also contact Apple Support and confirm this is the content you are expecting.


As far as a future 4K release, that would be a question best answered by Ken Burns or PBS.
