I need to sybc an Ipod classic with a music library (not an itunes library) stored on a nas.
I have a win8 PC where I've installed itunes, I can connect windows ro the music folder onthe nas but howI can I use this music folder as an itunes lib?

You can navigate to the nas after choosing "Add to library" from the iTunes menu and click on the titles to import, which of course requires, that you have access to the nas from your computer.
You will have to import the music into the iTunes library, to sync titles from our computer to your device.
