If you have a current model (4th generation or later), then you would have an App Store.
If you have a previous model (3rd generation or earlier), then those models do not have access to an App Store.
Please confirm your exact model and its software version.
The App Store icon on the home screen could be out of view; then scroll down some more. The App Store icon on the home screen could be in a less obvious location, e.g. inside a folder.
