Free Apple tv

Bought new phone and got free Apple TV for a year. Thing is nothing is free am I doing something wrong ? Thanks

Be advised that the offer is for Apple produced content, marked ‘Apple TV+’. Content from other studios, including items for buy and rent from the iTunes Store, are not included in this subscription.
