If I were trying this, I would proceed as follows:

  1. Set up the iTunes Remote app for Music on Mac - Apple Support
  2. Follow "Set up iTunes and the Remote App" here. Use your Apple Watch as a remote control for your Apple TV or iTunes - Apple Support
