OS X 10.12

hello - I currently have OS X 10.11.6 and trying to use an application that requires OS X 10.12 or later.


however, I can't update to 10.12 since the current version of my OS is so out of date, I have to do an in between upgrade before I can upgrade to 10.12


Does any one know what version I should download first?

As Kappy say... nothing between the two... maybe Combo Update you tried?


See if you can upgrade to 10.12, 10.13, see sys requirements...

Your current version is 10.11.6. There is no "in between upgrade" to get to 10.12. Unfortunately, you have not provided the full information on your MBA model. To find the complete model information select About This Mac from the Apple menu. We need this information in order to find out what the highest version of macOS is supported by your model. You can create a snapshot of the dialog as follows:
