The iPhone cannot be backed up

My iPhone cannot be backed up. The message shows that there is not enough iCloud storage available.

But, my iCloud storage is 17.6 GB of 50 GB used so there should be enough room for backed up.

I am not sure what should be done to ensure my iPhone backed up properly.

That is puzzling. Have you tried doing a manual backup?

Do you have a lot of photos on your phone? They will be included in your backup if iCloud Photos is off (as it appears to be), so check the size of your photo library on the phone.

You also may have a corrupt iCloud backup. Try deleting the current backup in Manage Storage.
